Connecting To Your Open Application Network Node

Connecting to you Open Application Network Personal or shared Node:

In your dashboard, select your Open Application Network node and click on <connect> in the actions menu at the bottom right.

Step 1: Download Wallet Application
Open Application Network desktop wallet 1.2.2 . for Mac, Win, Linux

Step 2: Connecting to your Node
Once you have the Open Application Network wallet installed, you can connect to your node easily.

You will need to log in to the Blockdaemon application and navigate to your Aion node from the interface. When you log on, look for your Open Application Network in the list of networks.
Click on the node and you will see your Open Application Network node information. When t is in ready/synced mode, you can connect to it.

Click on the “Connect” tab in the action menu at bottom right and you will see information for connecting to your node.
Your node URL, as well as your Access key, and ports will be displayed in the application dashboard, action>connect> menu. 

Once you have the Open Application Network installed, you can connect to your node easily

Connect to the Mainnet via your wallet:
From the Open Application Network, click the Settings tab.
In the “Connection” drop-down, select “Default”.
Do not edit any of the connection fields.
The Account Lock Timeout is the length of time the Open Application Network Desktop Wallet will wait while inactive before disconnecting. You can change this from the default value if you wish.
Click Apply
The Open Application NetworkWallet will connect to the network. Wait for the connection status to change to CONNECTED.

Connect to the Mainnet using your node
1.  In the “Connection” drop-down, select “Add Connection”.
2.  In the field labeled “Connection Name”, enter any label to help identify it.
3.  In the field labeled “URL”, enter your node URL as above: Found in the Open Application Network node URL section
4.  In the field labeled “Port”, enter your port as above: 8547
5.  In the field labeled “Access Key”, enter the key from your dashboard (above).
Click Save, the connection will be added to the list.
Select the new connection from the drop-down.
The Account Lock Timeout is the length of time the Aion Desktop Wallet will wait while inactive before disconnecting. You can change this from the default value if you want.
Click Apply
The Open Application Network Wallet will connect to the Mainnet network. Wait for the connection status to change to CONNECTED.

Connect to the Mastery Testnet
From the Open Application Network Wallet application, click to the Settings tab.
1.  In the “Connection” drop-down, select “Add Connection”.
2.  In the field labeled “Connection Name”, enter any label to help identify it.
3.  In the field labeled “URL”, enter your node URL as above: Found in the Open Application Network node URL section
4.  In the field labeled “Port”, enter your port as above: 8547
5.  In the field labeled “Access Key”, enter the key from your dashboard (above).
Click Save, the connection will be added to the list.
Select the new connection from the drop-down.

Click Save, the connection will be added to the list.
Select the new connection from the drop-down.

Click “Apply” to save your changes and you will be able to interact directly with your node via the wallet.
